Mr. Ross Wolfson - School Counseling Department Head
Ross Wolfson joined the Westborough counseling staff in 2014 after spending the previous 9 years as a school counselor at Dedham High School. Prior to that, he was a counselor in Jaffrey, NH and a college and career counselor in Hicksville, NY. He holds a BA in studio art from Binghamton University, an MSEd in School Counseling from Long Island University (CW Post Campus) and a CAGS from Fitchburg State University in Educational Leadership and Management. Counseling was a career change for Ross, as he first worked as an accountant in NYC after college, and proving that you don’t always get a job in the subject you major in. He is an avid user of technology and has presented at state, regional and national conferences on various forms of technology use for school counselors and college admissions professionals. Ross loves camping and taking adventures with his family every summer.
Mrs. Donna Goodliffe - School Counselor
Donna Goodliffe joined the Westborough Counseling Department in 2002 after implementing the Jobs for Bay State Graduates, school to work program here in 1998. Prior to counseling she worked in the travel and conference planning industry for 9 years. She holds a B.A. in Social Rehabilitation from Assumption College and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. In addition to her counseling responsibilities she is the adviser for The New Student Ambassadors program, a board member for the Quest Program and is the school liason for Project Graduation, a safe, substance free graduation celebration. Outside of school she enjoys family, friends, laughing and traveling (anywhere sunny), visiting her boys at Penn State and summers on Cape Cod with her husband.
MS. JaZmin D'Urbano
Jazmin D'Urbano joined the Westborough School Counseling Department in 2020. She started by covering school counselors' leaves and has joined WHS on a full time basis. Prior to joining the WHS counseling team, she worked with adults and students on obtaining employment in the community. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education from College of the Holy Cross and a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Salem State University. Outside of school, Mrs. D'Urbano enjoys spending time with her big family, watching tv shows, reading, and traveling to new places. She is excited to continue working with students and remaining part of the WHS community!
Mr. Jack Turo
Jack Turo is a new member of the Westborough School Counseling Department this year. Prior to joining WHS, he worked at TechBoston Academy in Dorchester, MA. He holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from UMASS Boston. Outside of school, Mr. Turo enjoys spending time outside, reading, and spending time with family and friends. You can often see him playing with his family's three dogs Cooper, Boomer, and Mac. Mr. Turo is extremely excited to meet and work with the entire WHS community
Mrs. Gayle Kenefick - School Counseling Dept Administrative Assistant
Gayle Kenefick joined the Westborough High School Counseling Department in June 2008. Previously she worked with Environmental Scientists and Engineers in Harvard, MA as the Documentation Specialist and Office Manager. She graduated from Briarwood College in CT. Gayle has two children Michael Jr. and Courtney. She enjoys time at the beach, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Kristen Caira - School Counselor
Kristen Caira joined the Westborough Counseling Department in 2006. Prior to joining the WHS team, she spent 3 years as a counselor in the urban setting of New Haven, CT. She holds a BA in Psychology from Assumption College and an MA in School Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. In addition to her role as a school counselor, she is mom to two little girls, Caroline and Anna. She enjoys family trips to amusement parks, vacationing on Cape Cod and Maine, and relaxing at the lake. In her "free time," Mrs. Caira loves running, trying new recipes and shopping.
Ms. Mirjam Lengauer - School Counselor
Mirjam Lengauer joined the Westborough School Counseling Department in 2018. Prior to joining the WHS counseling team, she worked in Peabody, Natick, and Newton covering maternity leaves as a high school counselor. She holds a B.A. in Human Services and International Affairs with a minor in Psychology from Northeastern University and an M.A. in School Counseling from Boston College. Outside of school, Ms. Lengauer enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, discovering new restaurants, reading, and watching tv shows with her cat Milo. Ms. Lengauer is looking forward to getting to know all of her students and is excited to be a part of the WHS community!

Ms. Katie Adams
Kathryn (Katie) Adams joined the WHS Counseling Department in the Fall of 2019. Before then she served two years as a high school counselor in Navasota, Texas and seven years at Still Creek Academy of Bryan, Texas, where she was first an English teacher and then K-12 School Counselor. She earned her BS in Psychology and Sociology and her Master’s in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. Katie loves working with students and is passionate about helping them envision their future and long-term goals after graduation. Outside of school, Katie enjoys traveling around Massachusetts with her family, playing board games, and salsa dancing. (Ms. Adams is on a leave of absence through the 2021-2022 school year.)
