Design Immersion (June 25-July 16) gives aspiring designers a theoretical framework for solving design problems and practical experience designing everyday items such as street signs, skateboards, websites, and public parks. Working in state-of-the art facilities, students explore the history, theory, and practice of design, participate in hands-on workshops, and come to understand design's potential as a powerful force for change.
The Fashion Studio ( July 17 - August 6) Offers students a rare opportunity to develop their fashio design skills and build a design portfolio.
Introduction to Architecture (July 25 - August 6 Introduces students to architectural ideas, principles, and methods of exploring architectural problems in a studio setting.
Transmedia: Image Sound Motion ( July 17 - August 6) Offers students the opportunity to work with cameras, audio recorders, physical computing boards, and computer software as they learn how to create and manipulate digital art.
