Colleges often require students to send first term grades, and our practice is to automatically send them to all the schools you have already applied to. However, if a school on your list does not require first term grades, or there are extenuating circumstances that you feel have negatively affected your transcript, you may request to opt-out of having your grades sent. Please use this form to request that your first term grades not be sent. If you choose to opt-out, please list the schools not to send grades to on the form, and return it to the School Counseling Office by the end of the day on Thursday, November 19. You can find out if your schools require first term grades by checking their admissions webpages or by calling their admissions offices.
Be advised that the opt-out form does NOT apply to initial transcripts sent to additional colleges in the future. Initial transcripts to additional colleges will include all grades completed as of the time of your application.
